Not a Tech Person? The NFC Card Does the Work

Some of the best businesspeople we know still ask a nephew to set their WhatsApp profile photo. If that is you, and everything smart feels like one more thing waiting to embarrass you at the wrong moment, this post is written for you — because an NFC card is, oddly, one of the least demanding pieces of technology you can own.

Here is the direct answer for a non-technical buyer: the card does the work, not you. There is no app to open, no battery to charge, no update to install, no password to remember in a meeting. You tap the card on the other person's phone and their phone does everything. Your only real task is a one-time profile setup — and if even that sounds tiresome, you message us on WhatsApp and we set it up with you.

That is the whole commitment. Now the worries, one at a time, because we have heard them all.

The NFC card asks nothing of you day to day

Think about what your phone demands from you daily: charging, updates, notifications, storage warnings. An NFC card demands none of that. It sits in your pocket exactly like your old paper cards did, except this one never goes out of date.

There is no power button because there is no battery — the chip wakes up only when a phone touches it, borrowing power from the phone itself for a fraction of a second. Whatever you do or do not do, the card is ready. You could ignore every dashboard, every setting and every message from us for a year, and the card would keep working every single day of it.

The tapping happens on their phone, not yours

A common fear: "I will have to operate something in front of the client and I will fumble." You will not, because there is nothing to operate. Your own phone is not involved at all — it can be in the car, switched off, or three years out of date.

You touch the card to the back of their phone. Their phone buzzes and shows a message; they tap it; your details appear on their screen. The only skill on your side is holding a card still for two seconds, and you have been handing over cards your whole career. If their phone happens to be one of the rare ones without NFC, you show them the printed QR code on the card and their camera does the rest.

The one-time setup — and who actually does it

Your profile is the page people see: your name, numbers, WhatsApp, your work links. Setting it up is a one-time job in the dashboard, which opens in a normal browser like any website. Filling it is closer to filling a form than to learning software.

But here is the part that matters for this post: you do not have to do it yourself. Message us on WhatsApp, tell us what should appear on your profile, and we will get it sorted with you. Plenty of customers never touch the dashboard at all. The card works identically either way — it has no idea who filled the form.

When your number changes

This is where a non-technical person actually wins with an NFC card. With paper, a changed number meant a design file, a printer, a reprint bill, and a drawer full of wrong cards. With this card, the details are edited once, online, and the card in your pocket is instantly correct — because it only points to your profile, it never contained the details.

And again: if editing a page is not your idea of an evening, that is one WhatsApp message. The change takes effect immediately, and the physical card needs nothing done to it. Ever.

An honest note about how much technology remains

We will not pretend there is zero technology here — there is a chip in the card and a page on the internet. What we can say honestly is where the technology sits: almost entirely on the other side of the exchange. The complicated part happens inside the other person's phone, which already knows how to do it and asks them, not you.

Your side is a card, a pocket, and a two-second tap. If you can hand someone a paper card, you already have every skill this product requires.

If you would rather talk it through than read another page, that is exactly what WhatsApp is for. Message us at +91 97133 49930 — we will answer in plain language, set up your profile with you, and tell you honestly which card suits your work.
